1997 Nissan 240SX Owner - Jomar Bibera

Attending show, after show, you see thousands of cars, and many times the same cars over and over. Though once in a while you come across a vehicle that you just can’t ignore. This was the scenario when I first saw Jomars Bibera’s Nissan 240sx.

A late night at the Las Vegas Speedway was nothing new, as I watched dozens of drivers test their skills on the quarter mile track. This night however, would prove to be different. Off in the distance under the speedway lights a bright green Nissan caught my attention. I ventured toward the vehicle marveling at the style that had peeked my curiosity. With the presence of a VIS Type V body kit, Veilside wing, a custom fitted Aerogear Series-1 hood this 240 had a look all its own. The Sparco hood pins and clean body were next to catch my eye as the door handles, side skirt and rear bumper were all shaved and finished off with a wild Lime Sherbet paint that just screamed for the attention of onlookers. Keeping Jomar’s sinful 240sx grounded were 19” RH Evolution S15 wheels wrapped with Pirelle P7000 series rubber. Brembo cross drilled rotors were added for stopping power. Underneath the hood sits a KA24DE motor with an automatic transmission, Injen cold air intake system, Nology Hot Wires, HKS Mega Flow Air filter and Greddy PE exhaust system. Inside more amazement was to be found, with a full carbon fiber interior (created by www.cftype.com) and a carbon fiber dash kit. Accenting the carbon fiber was an Isotta Steering Wheel, Levoc Shift knob, Razo sport pedals and Sparco four-point harness seats. The interior sounds come from an Alpine in dash changer, Autotek equalizer, Alpine 300 watt amp and Autotek 500 watt amp, four 6.5” Crystal coaxial speakers, and two 12” Crystal subs. The video setup includes two 5.6” tv screens with a VCR/TV tuner and Sony Playstation.

No doubt Jomar’s 1997 Nissan 240sx has plenty of intrigue as it has been taking home numerous awards from a variety of shows. With new plans for the future Jomars Downforce 240 is one to be reckoned with. Jomar would like to thank Isotta for the steering wheel, Nology for the ignition, BCE Designs for vehicle graphics and Team Prototype/CFType for the custom carbon fiber interior.
